Terms of Service & Liability Waiver

1. Suitability for Laundering

By using Lady Light Suds, you agree that your items are suitable to be washed in water, on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. We follow care labels to the best of our ability; however, we are not responsible for damage to clothing that is not suitable for this standard laundering process, including "Dry Clean Only" items placed in a standard wash bag.

2. Damaged Laundry & Wear and Tear

All laundering processes, regardless of how gentle, cause normal wear and tear on clothing. As a result, Lady Light Suds cannot be held responsible for:

Inherent weaknesses or defects in materials (such as thinning fabric or aging seams).
Loss of buttons, fading, fatiguing, holes, or abrasions.
Dimensional changes (shrinking or stretching).
Color bleeding or "runs" caused by non-colorfast fabrics.

3. The "Check Your Pockets" Clause

Customers must inspect and empty all pockets prior to handing over laundry. Lady Light Suds is not responsible for damage to garments caused by items left in pockets (e.g., lipstick, chewing gum, pens, markers, coins, or electronics). We do not guarantee the return of any personal items found in pockets.

4. Missing Items

We treat your laundry as if it were our own and use a strict tracking system. However, in the rare event of a missing item:

Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Differences in count will be determined by our internal facility logs, which shall be accepted as the final count.

5. Limitation of Liability (The $300 Cap)

In the event of loss or damage to an entire order or individual items, the total liability of Lady Light Suds shall not exceed $300.00 per order, regardless of the brand, condition, or value of the items. Reimbursement may be provided in the form of service credits or cash at the sole discretion of management.

6. Unattended Pickup & Delivery

If you request that we pick up or leave your laundry in a designated unattended area (e.g., porch, foyer, or with a third party), Lady Light Suds is not responsible for the security or condition of your laundry before we have physically collected it or after we have dropped it off.
